Welcome!

To the Technology Made Simple Newsletter, Edition No.6

After a short hiatus it's a pleasure to welcome you to the 6th TMS newsletter.

Once again it's been an interesting time since the last edition, with a hugely diverse range of jobs taken on and completed. Websites have been built, missing things have been recovered from backups and music has been produced. It's been a whirlwind of productivity for an amazing set of customers!

But less about us, let's look at some tech news!

Apple Watch

The biggest news of the moment once again goes to Apple who always love to hog the limelight. More details about their forthcoming Apple Watch have been revealed including the release date (24th of April) and when you will be able to see the devices in the flesh in Apple stores (10th of April). Whatever your views on Apple and their products, there is no denying that their last few major releases have all been game changers in the technology industry. Will the Apple Watch do the same? We will have to wait and see but if you want some more information about the long awaited device, click the picture on the left to visit Apple's official page, and the picture on the right to visit the MacRumors page:
Windows 10

Due for release this Summer, the latest iteration of the Microsoft operating system promises to make improvements to the widely criticised Windows 8. I suspect that leap from 8 to 10 is Microsoft distancing themselves! A huge piece of news for existing Windows customers is that the upgrade should be free for users of Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone 8.1 devices that upgrade in the first year. This is a huge departure for how Microsoft usually distribute their products. The bit from the Windows 10 website which gets me most excited however is the information about HoloLens, it looks absolutely amazing! There's no specifics on when we will be seeing this technology in the real world but the level of innovation is huge. Click the Windows 10 image below for information about Windows 10, and the picture with the globe to see more specific information about HoloLens:
